Children’s Ministry at Prescott

Sunday Mornings // 930-1045a and 1100-1200p

Children are important to Prescott! Our goal is to build up children’s lives for Jesus Christ so they can develop a relationship with and grow to be like Him in all things. We want all children to be able to experience Jesus’ love for them and in the process discover the excitement, joy, and peace that comes from living a life with Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

Our team of loving, dedicated ministry leaders, teachers, and assistants make learning about Christ fun and exciting! Our staff seeks to build relationships that give kids opportunities to start and grow in their relationship with God.

Pre-Kindergarten

We have a wonderful team of teachers and helpers dedicated to these classes who will help your child to be excited about coming to church and learning about Jesus. Listening, sharing, and cooperating are key aspects of these foundational lessons.

We also have a staff of caring adults who will take care of your infants (ages 0-1.5 years) during both services in the nursery.

BLAST - Grades 1-5

Blast sharpens your kids’ Bible skills because each week they open their Bibles and experience God’s Word—firsthand. Your kids will enjoy Bible learning and grow close to God, causing their actions and worship to become a natural outflow of their lives.

REDUCE THE RISK

Reduce the Risk is a screening process that all volunteers within Children’s Ministry are required to go through before being placed in a classroom. 

Our comprehensive program includes an application, a personal interview, a waiting period, and a background check. Our teachers and helpers receive continuous and up-to-date training to make them the best they can be!

Reduce the Risk is an ongoing process within the church. The goal is to have everyone involved in CE through student programs to have this completed.
